Jodi Miller and Derek Richards bring on the humor this Labor Day weekend, working hard so you can kick back with a cold beverage and enjoy the laughter.

Jodi Miller- With over 13 years experience performing standup, Jodi Miller is not afraid to push the envelope and in doing so, crowds undeniably give a loving stamp of approval. As an animated, high energy comic that has a unique spin on life, Jodi’s insightful banter covers everything from cats to cougars, and how her dad is desperate to get her knocked up! (What?)

Currently, kicking her feet up in Los Angeles, Jodi is a sought after comedian, television and film writer, and leading lady. Not to mention, a highly skilled Improv and Sketch Comedy artist that has captivated audiences nationwide. Her critically acclaimed one woman show, “Flying Coach,” was awarded Critic’s Pick, due to popular demand was extended twice, and poured in outstanding reviews: “…biting wit, zinging one-liners and excellent writing” LA Weekly, and Stage Critic‘s Choice from City Beat.

Jodi’s innate ability to captivate audiences has landed her appearances on hit shows such as The Tonight Show, Chelsea Lately, and Comedy Jam: Entertainers with Bryon Allen. Website:

Derek Richards- Picture the serious side of life as a plate glass window. Now, imagine a cement truck barreling toward it at 100 mph. The maniac behind the wheel? Derek Richards.

As a comedian, Richards leaves fellow cynics screaming for more. And as a cancer survivor, he proves that a full-throttle sense of humor can make even the most dire days a laughing matter.

Whether to a packed house of hundreds or a handful in a hospital ward, Richards rakes in the roars with tales about his mom's dog; dating an exotic dancer; exercise; computers; and life on the road.

Richards' act is fast, fresh and, at times, fanatical, that can be heard on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, The Bob and Tom Show and Bob and Sheri.  He was also a semi-finalist in Comedy Central's Open Mic Fight. Website:
