2011 Kerrville Folk Festival “New Folk Finalist”
Philip Gibbs is a songwriter born and raised in Austin, but these days he spends almost all of his time on the road, traveling far enough to go around the moon 3 times in the past 2 years alone to play over 150 shows a year around the US. Over the past 15 years, he's made 4 albums of his own, had his songs recorded by several other artists, and written for stage and screen.
