Originally born into hip-hop through break dancing, Brother Ali has been one with the mic since he first heard Miilkbone on record. A student of Hip-Hop's golden age, Ali's music ranges from purpose to passionate, yet always soulful and true to the boastful heritage of hip hop culture. An emcee, producer, host and overall party-starter, Brother Ali's talents are a well-defined addition to the Rhymesayers family.

Homeboy Sandman grew up in Queens, New York City and attended boarding school at New Hampshire’s Holderness School. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently enrolled in law school at Hofstra University. He withdrew from law school during his third year to pursue his career as an emcee. On June 1st 2010, Homeboy Sandman released his third album, The Good Sun.

The ReMINDers have been making music for a while now, both individually and together. In 2005, Big Samir (MC) began performing with Aja Black (MC/vocalist) around the Midwest, sharing similar views on life, music and religion, they decided to come together and work on a concept entitled The ReMINDers.
