Todd Clouser's A Love Electric
The Panda Resistance
The Panda Resistance is an instrumental and experimental post-rock trio from Tulsa, OK. The compositions, often nostalgic and fervent in flavor, drift in between danceable anthems, merciless post-rock ditties, and experimental love songs. Comprised of Clay Welch on guitar/effects, Bo Hallford on bass and keys, and Andrew Bones on drums and glockenspiel, the Panda Resistance creates evocative original music that has been compared to the likes of Tortoise, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, Do Make Say Think, and Ratatat.
Todd Clouser's A Love Electric
Todd CLouser's A Love Electric come with the future of creative rock music, descending from the lineage of jazz and adherence to groove, A Love Electric has an unmistakable patent on its genre-defying approach to song and performance, delivered with an energy described as "illuminating" (Time Out Barcelona) and "infectious" (Minn Public Radio). Having risen from a small club act to being signed by renowned Ropeadope Records in 2010 and on to Royal Potato Family (Marco Benevento, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey) in just one year, guitarist Clouser and band are widely gaining recognition as an artist emerging into the international creative music conscience, having been selected as one of 100 "Artists on the Verge" by the New Music Seminar/New York Music Festival. The wildly engaging live show has taken A Love Electric to stages from Barcelona to Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, CA to Jazz Dock in Prague, Czech Republic to Rockwood Music Hall in New York City."A gem .... Clouser spices the All- American vibe of guitarist Bill Frisell with some Jimi Hendrix fire.... 3.5/4" - The Philadelphia Inquirer
" A blistering neo-jazz rock quintet" - The Prague Post
"An impressive modern outfit that takes its cues from fuzzed-out acid rock and laid-back vintage funk." - TIME OUT NYC
