Down North, BatCave

Down North is a seven-piece band from the Seattle area that blends funk and rock into danceable grooves. They take influences from the past such as: James Brown, George Clinton, Prince and Jamiroquai, and put their own take on funk music bringing jazz, latin and reggae into the mix. Down North just released their debut EP "Danger" on April 20th 2008. "...a perfect blend of old school flavor with a modern edge..." Since then they have been performing throughout the northwest expanding their fan base to Portland and Bellingham as well as holding it down in their howmetown of Seattle, WA.
