It has been one insane year for the members of Denver thrash band Havok. Filled with non-stop touring, the most recent alongside Sepultura, the four-piece found time to piece together this special ep. Once again utilizing the talents of producer James Murphy (Testament, Obituary), Havok deliver two brand new songs that continue to show the more-than-ample chops of this young band. With touring planned to continue through summer, their metal roller coaster is not about to stop anytime soon.

Havok released Time Is Up, their sophomore release via Candlelight Records, mid-April 2011. The album has already doubled previous album sales and continues to sell well as the band’s touring keeps them in front of a growning and curious fanbase. Media has embraced the very personal band from the beginning; Blabbermouth noting, “don't lump Havok in with the steaming pile of retro wannabes stinking up the scene; the Colorado clan is now a member the Real Deal Club.”
