January 27 & 29
At N4th Theater on January 27 and 29, Revolutions presents Teatret OM, an international theatre company founded in Italy in 1989, now the Regional Theater in the Municipality of Ringkobing-Skjern, Denmark. The piece i Maltagliati (to sing a life) is a solo performance about an old woman remembering her life through songs while cooking a pasta dish for a guest. The sung theatrical piece was inspired by the ritual songs of the Australian Aborigines, Italian folk songs and an illiterate shepherdess poet born in Tuscany in 1800. The company consists of actor-musicians and a resident set designer who create performances that intertwine the actors physicality with images generated by the set and props, all set to live music.
