With their unique collaborations, Moksha continue to create fresh and exploratory sounds. The group currently features an all-star horn section for their live show, with Peter Apfelbaum (Hieroglyphics Ensemble, Trey Anastacio Band), Jen Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band) and Skerik (Garage a Trois, Roger Waters, Les Claypool). The unique blend of musicians lives and breathes in a deep pocket of funk rock, and their music swirls in subtlety, painting a sonic landscape that unfolds in the moment, feeding on the dynamic ebb and flow of audience and band interaction. Between deep grooves and shaking your booty on the dance floor, Moksha provides something for everyone.
Moksha's explosive shows and their arsenal of well-crafted material have earned them a name as Las Vegas' secret weapon. Emerging from the glitz and glamour of Sin City, they've garnered a solid fanbase on the West Coast with their well-oiled jam machine of guitar, keys, bass, drums, and horns. Moksha recorded their latest album, Here We Go with four-time Grammy Award winning engineer/producer James "Bonzai" Caruso, making for their most cohesive record to date. Homegrown Music Network has boasted that the release is "slick, timeless, and it only gets better with each listen." Moksha is John Heishman (bass, vocals), Brian Triola (keys, vocals), Pat Gray (drums, percussion), Jeremy Parks (guitar, lap steel, vocals), and Sam Lemos (vocals).
