Austin Miller isn't your typical “cabin in the woods” singer-songwriter. As a Floridian, the palm trees and blistering heat are his home. But this Orlando native's laid back and rustic narratives take you far from the beaches. Tales of young hearts and world-weary souls come to life in his songs. Austin has spent the better part of the last three years on the road, playing everywhere from small town dive bars, to The House of Blues Chicago, and everything in between. His self-released albums have earned praise from the Orlando Sentinel, Suburban Apologist, and Mind Equals Blown, among others. "More Than One Way" is an album featuring 10 of his newest songs, released in June 2013, described as "Lush as a full moon on the horizon line."
This tour sees Brothers Austin and Kyle Miller sharing a stage together. Two years ago, when Austin mentioned that he’d like to have an upright bass accompany him, a young Kyle saw this as a challenge. To add to the challenge, he didn’t take a single lesson, learning the enormous instrument completely on his own. It wasn’t long before the two were cramming their belongings into a mid-sized SUV and touring the Southeast. They will be on their third tour as a duo this September, in support of Austin’s second full-length album, More Than One Way.
