Parking

Tour goers can park for free at the Convention Center’s eastside parking structure at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Broadway, and are encouraged to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Please note that, due to the ongoing construction at the Convention Center, that the underground tunnels between the parking structure and the Convention Center WILL BE CLOSED and access to 3rd Street and adjacent sidewalks between Marquette and Tijeras will be limited. Please follow the signage to the Luminaria Tour. Free parking will also be available for disabled and special needs individuals at the parking lot located at the northwest corner of 3rd Street and Marquette (just north of Civic Plaza).

Take a magical ride with on ABQ RIDE's Luminaria Tour.

Luminaria Tour

Enjoy this annual New Mexican tradition without worrying about parking, driving through snow, annoying traffic delays, or wasting gas. The tour, which begins and ends at the Albuquerque Convention Center, takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour, and travels through Old Town, the Country Club area, and the Los Altos Neighborhoods.

2013 Tour Schedule

  • Six tours originating from the Downtown Convention Center will be held Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 at 5:20 p.m.; 5:50 p.m.; 6:15 p.m.; 6:55 p.m.; 7:20 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
  • Starting at midnight on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, tickets will go on sale.
  • Tickets will not be sold at the Alvarado Transportation Center.
