Singer-songwriter Eryn Bent has been enchanting audiences since age 14, with her powerhouse vocals and honest, gritty songwriting.
Born and raised in Montana, Eryn has deep Western roots that shine through her Indie Folk-style songwriting. She has played all over the West coast, forever planting her musical magic in the hearts of those who listen to her.
As well as being a folk singer, Eryn is also a trained operatic/classical vocalist, which gives her the incredible range and ability to showcase her vocals in many evocative ways. She has written and released three independent albums, and has most recently completely her first studio album, recorded by Jono Manson at the Kitchen Sink Studios. Featuring 11 originals songs and produced by Ms. Bent herself, "Firefly" will not disappoint. The album will be released in May 2014.
Impassioned performance is Eryn’s goal for every musical venture.
Eryn's most recent endeavor has been rehearsing and playing shows with The Troupe Red, her band featured on "Firefly", whose members consist of: Justin Bransford on bass, Jon Myers on bass (ABQ), Jeff Sussman on drums, Bob Bruen on mandolin, Caitlin Thomas on violin, Lisa Carman and Adrienne Bellis on harmony vocals, and Eryn fronting the Troupe on rhythm guitar and vocals. (Jono Manson is also featured in several tracks on "Firefly"). You can catch Eryn Bent & The Troupe Red playing shows around Santa Fe & Albuquerque, gearing up for the much anticipated album release.
