Local singer Sue Caldwell has asked Flat Blak's Travis Manning, Leslie Skaggs and Rob Allen to join her, celebrating the release of Sue's CD “Choices”. Their united forces combine to blend their high-energy stage shows into one for this special evening. “Choices” was recorded and mastered by Travis at his studio, Nasty Cactus Studios, and features Travis on guitar and Rob on drums.

Raised in music-rich San Antonio, Texas, Sue Caldwell (AKA: “Sue Z Q”) is known by area musicians and fans alike for her musical versatility. During the last few years, she has performed in the Las Cruces area and El Paso with musicians such as Guitar Slim, Neal McCowan, Al Dawson, Tom Foster Morris, Fast Lane, and Tuco John. Sue is a former member of the oldies group Remember Then A Class Act. In recent months she has had featured appearances with Travis Manning, Smokin Mirrors, and Flat Blak.

Flat Blak, with its popular, driving, Blues-based Rock n Roll-with-Attitude style, is a powerful local trio of veteran musicians with a loyal fan base. Flat Blak recently won the 2nd place trophy at the Battle on the Border showdown at Sunland Park Casino. That high-visiblity award earned the band the opening act spot for the Sammy Hagar concert at El Paso's Speaking Rock Casino in June.
