Hiss and Chambers and Project Jenny Project Jan
with ATOMIK ending the night with a dance party
Hiss and Chambers
"In one year span, the quartet based out of Portland,Me. quickly found themselves filling venues with hipsters hungry to dance to the post-punk, retro live rock. The band often turned what would be a rock concert into an all out dance party. The regional press started comparing the band to 80's and current bands such as The Killers, The Bravery and U2. As one reviewer wrote: '...Hiss & Chambers don't necessarily sound like these bands, but I did think of Echo & the Bunnymen, the Cure, Joy Division, Bauhaus, New Order...you get the idea. I get it and I am smitten with what I've heard." - Portland Press Herald
After releasing the "Making Eyes" Ep the band saw commercial radio success (WCYY,WFNX,WBCN,WMPG) with the singles "The Kiss", "Decay" and an underground dance club hit with "Glory #1" spawning the release of the dj remix ep "Making Lies" out on Milled Pavement Records.
Hiss and Chambers are back after a 2.5 year hiatus.

PJPJ visited The Empire in May, and dropped every jaw (and shook every ass) in the room.
