Join us Saturday, July 8th, as we aim to misbehave for a good cause! The Albuquerque Browncoats are pleased to present "Serenity" on the big screen for the 9th year, and proud to support Equality now and our local charity UNM Children's Hospital. Firefly Lives!
We'll have food, fun, merchandise, raffles, film and surprises at the beautiful South Broadway Cultural Center Theatre! The SBCC is a hidden gem of Albuquerque with its theater, gallery, library, and more! Can't Stop the Serenity 2017 (CSTS 2017) is a unique opportunity to indulge your geeky side while doing some good! This year we are celebrating 12 years and more than 1.2 million dollars raised for charity! Since 2006, fans have organized worldwide screening of Joss Whedon's "Serenity" to raise funds and awareness to support Equality Now in their work toward a just world for women and girls around the world.
