KALEIDOSCOPE is an indie music concept created by Josh86 and DJ Vagina in 2003, to showcase local bands that fall outside of the mainstream. The genres explored range from punk to soul to disco to folk. It helped build a scene with acts such as Linus the Band, The Malcognitas, Le Tenia, At Sea, Painted Highways, Gary Liu, Sabrina, DJ Jet Boy and more

The Drowning Dreamers Band is a chamber folk ensemble from Honolulu, HI.

Motmot is an improvised experimental ambient band, comprised of multi-instrumentalists: Eric Yamamoto, Jace Mitsuka and Ryan Miyashiro. Together, the three create vast soundscapes; layering acoustic/electronic instruments, percussion and manipulated field recordings; drawing from their surroundings and reinterpreting the present into an auditory form. Since their performances are improvised, each one is a unique experience. Musically, they draw influence from a multitude of artists; including the minimalist works of John Cage; Krautrock pioneers, Can; and Japanese psychedelic rockers, Boris.

DJ JET BOY is a DJ and promoter working in Chinatown, Honolulu. He has been a part of the music scene since 2006 and played at venues from Detox to Downbeat. His range of music varies from ska to indie rock to Motown. He has opened for acts such as Steve Aoki, Black Lips, etc.
