Bob Andrews grew up in the thick of the 60's and 70’s British music scene, and began his musical career in 1966, spending thirteen years on the road honing his Hammond organ and piano skills with various bands, including cult bands Brinsley Schwarz and Graham Parker and The Rumour. Working throughout the eighties in London, he produced and played on numerous successful recordings, before moving to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he became in demand as a live performer. He currently lives and works in Taos, New Mexico.

The Damn Band has been rocking northern New Mexico for over a decade and has a musical background as diverse as the area they reside in. From their home base in Taos, the current lineup showcases the driving rhythms and guitar work by K Bolan and the soulful vocals of Mina Tank. With a huge dose of R&B and Rock as its driving force; the influences of Blues, Latin, Reggae and Pop find their way into the music of the band known as "The Party Band of the Southwest". In the past the band was invited to play by Gov Bill Richardson at his election night celebration; Mina's recent appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show has helped introduce a new audience to a band that is as unique as the Land of Enchantment.
