The JAH KINGS funky roots Reggae sound, lead by front man Alexander Kofi,  is heralded from Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Reservation to Ghana West Afrika.  This sound, rooted in the principles of roots reggae musik, brings in funk, jazz, and Native Amerikan influences with messages of Unconditional Love, Unity, and reconnecting one's culture as Kofi has having Afrikan/Ashante, Blackfoot Lakota, Cherokee/Choctaw heritage.  Alexander Kofi states"to the Rasta Priest true Roots Reggae are seen as Psalms or Sacred Songs which is of the same resonance as Oliwan Waste in Lakota..the Good Musik..Musikal Medicine".  Having opened up for the Itals, Yellowman, Culture, Eekamouse, Everton Blender, and Neville Duncan of the Ethiopians, the JAH KINGS have gained the respect from the Roots Reggae Community.  The JAH KINGS have also opened up for the Four Tops, Journey, Foreigner, and Bobby Womack.  The members of the JAH KINGS are Alexander Kofi on Drums, lead vocals, and Guitar, Tony on Percussion, David Swain on Bass, David Steele on Lead Guitar, and Drew on Keyboards.   With highly acclaimed and relevant songs during these critical times, such as WOUNDED KNEE, CRITICAL MASS, and OUR WORLD...The JAH KINGS Delivers Every time and is Second to None!
