The Kerrville Folk Music Foundation exists as a 501(c)3 non-profit to support a long tradition of Kerrville Music Festivals as well as our other programs that promote the craft of songwriting.
The Kerrville Folk Festival Foundation produces 5 major annual events:
The Kerrville Folk Festival
The Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Competition
The Kerrville Fall Music Festival
Music Camp for Teens (in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas)
Music at the Mansion Concert Series (in partnership with Schreiner University)
The Kerrville Folk Festival, our flagship event, is the longest continuously running musical festival in the United States. It is celebrated by a community who considers themselves family. When gathered, this family becomes the second largest community in Kerr County. Over the course of the 18 day festival, activities are provided for all ages with a focus on nurturing and developing artistic expression, especially the art of songwriting, in a loving, family friend environment.
The Kerrville Folk Festival Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote public appreciation and support for songwriters, the songwriting craft, and the gift folk music offers the world.
