ONLINE REGISTRATION

THE NM GAMES IS OFFERING ONLINE REGISTRATION. Teams can register at newmexicogames.org. We are asking that all teams register online. We do however realize that this may not be possible for everyone. We will take mail or hand delivered entries. All mailed and hand delivered entries must be cash, money order or cashier's check.
No personal or business checks accepted.

Individual players will still need to turn in a signed waiver at check in. Coaches will still have the chance to change their roster at check-in.

Early bird registration will be through Friday, May 4, 2018. Early registration fee is $230.00. Senior early registration will be $130.00. After May 4th, regular fees will apply. Team registration will be $260.00 and senior team fee will be $160.00.

Teams MUST wear similar color jerseys with permanent numbers. No taped numbers. We ask that numbers be at least 4 inches tall. This applies to all teams in all divisions. Please be sure to read the rules that will be with your packet. You are responsible for informing your players and parents the rules.

In the past we have always allowed teams to have the option to play Friday night or not. Too many teams have opted not to play Friday, which has made scheduling very difficult. Teams that are 60 miles or more out of Albuquerque will be able to check that box. If you are an out of town team and do not check that box, then you may be scheduled to play. Once the schedule is made, it is too late to change. It is your responsibility to make sure the box has been checked. Albuquerque and surrounding area teams can expect to play on Friday. Not every team will play as we have only so many games that can be played that night, but you need to be ready to play if necessary. There are a few Albuquerque schools that have graduation on that night; let us know if you are one of those schools and we will work around that.

We will be offering early check-in. ***Early check-in will begin Wednesday, May 23rd after 9:00 am through Thursday, May 24th at 6:00 pm. You will need to turn in your roster and waivers at this time. After you have turned in these items, you will receive an unofficial copy of your bracket, t-shirts, rules, and player passes. After Thursday at 6:00 pm. you can pick up your packet etc. at the gym you play your first game. Each team will receive 10 player passes and 2 coach's passes. If you have more than 10 players, we will check your official roster and give you any additional passes at that time. You will only receive 2 coach's passes regardless of how many coaches you have. Please remind your players that they must keep these with them at all times during the weekend; they will need them to get in. Each team is allowed up to 12 t-shirts. You may only get shirts for players on the official roster. If you have more than 12 players on a team, additional shirts for them may be purchased at the time you check in for $5.00 each.

The following are the ONLY times for walk up/had delivered entry forms at Jerry Cline Tennis Center.  Online registration is your best option.  If you come at any other time, your entry will not be accepted.  Jerry Cline Tennis Center is located at 7205 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 - corner of Louisiana and Constitution NE.

Please keep in mind that after May 4th, entries will be accepted on a space available only basis.  Once we reach capacity, there will be no additional entries taken (though we will have a waiting list).  Please call 505-263-8513 to see if there is space.

ELIGIBILITY: All New Mexico Residents
ENTRY FEE: Early bird registration fee (through May 4, 2018) is $230.00 for Men's, Women's, High School & Youth Divisions (includes T-Shirt), $130.00 for Senior (Includes T-Shirt).
After May 4, 2018 regular fees apply — Senior fee $160.00, all other divisions $260.00.
NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 4th.
TYPE: Double Elimination
AWARDS: 1st through 3rd place (Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals and Draw-String Bags).

RULES:NCAA rules state that no more than two (2) NCAA basketball players from one college team may compete on the same team. Check with your athletic director if you have questions. Players may play for ONE team only. Once your team loses, you MAY NOT play for another team. Players must wear similar color jerseys with permanent numbers.
ENTRY INFORMATION: Roster for Senior Division is limited to 6 players, all other divisions are limited to 12 players (Receiving T-Shirt) and must be submitted on the official games roster with entry form and fee. NO ADDITIONS OR SUBSTITUTIONS PERMITTED AFTER THE FIRST GAME. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM EACH TEAM MUST CHECK-IN BEFORE THE FIRST GAME. REFER TO LETTER FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION.

DIVISIONS:
Players may play for ONE team only.

Open: (Men & Women) A maximum of two (2) undergraduate college basketball players from the same school may participate on the same team.

Recreation: (Men) Active college players are ineligible to participate.

Senior: Men: 50-over; Women: 50-over; 3 on 3 tournament.

High School:  1A/2A/3A/JV  & 4A/5A/6A Boys & Girls.

AAU high school teams need to play in the appropriate high school division.

(GRADUATING SENIORS CANNOT PLAY IN HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION.)

Youth: (Boys & Girls) Divisions: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grade. AAU eligibility rules apply.
Please refer to the see our website (newmexicogames.org) for clarification:  Youth Coaches must have players’ birth certificates and proof of grade with them at all times in case needed.
