Join us on the evening of Sunday, April 29th for a night celebrating the two-year anniversary of Lemons to Light benefitting Hold(en) the Light!

+On April 29th, 2016 Co-Director Holden Amory was traveling southbound on I-95 when an 18-wheeler kicked up a 20lb brake drum sitting in the middle of the road. It torpedoed through his windshield, obliterating the right side of his face. Miraculously, he was able to pull the car over without hurting anyone else. About three facial reconstructive surgeries later, Amory is back on the music scene making a name for himself through his voice and message here in South Florida

+Your MC for the evening, from the Discovery Channels "Ingenious Minds" TV Series, Derek Amato. After suffering a brain injury from a diving accident, Derek was diagnosed with "Acquired Savant Syndrome," and is considered the only person in medical history to acquire sudden musical genius from a brain injury. Derek has been featured on The Today Show, Dr. Oz, The Steve Harvey Show, and all national/ international media outlets world wide!

+Ben Solmor is a 30 year old choreographing machine; quite literally. When Solmor was younger he was diagnosed with Multiple Enchondromatosis in his legs; a rare form of bone cancer (only 1 in every 100,000 people contract this disease). Doctor’s believed he would struggle walking throughout his life, but that didn’t stop Ben, who’s passion for dance became the catalyst for recovery. Solmor has gone on to be an award nominated choreographer in the South Florida musical theater scene, and recently conquered cancer again; this time resulting in titanium plates in his leg. Although he is still recovering, Solmor has choreographed a performance to one of Derek’s original compositions for this special night.

+Wayne Felber is also a two time cancer survivor who is using his life to shed a light on laughter. “Changing lives one laugh at a time” is his creed, and he’s doing just that. Upon his diagnosis, family members were devastated, and rightly so. But, Felber wasn’t nearly as upset, and wasn’t going to let cancer dictate his journey; it would just be a part. His business card describes him as Comedian | Actor | Wedding Officiant | Cancer Survivor | Friend |

+The night’s performances will also include Stedman Amory accompanied by other South Florida theater actors.
