Grammy-nominated and New Mexico native, Raul Midón is celebrated as one of music's most distinctive and searching voices. Heralded as a "one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus," (NY Times), Midón has collaborated with such heroes as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Jason Mraz, Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg. Blind since birth, Midón produced-engineered his most recent album using special computer software for the blind. Midón's latest release Bad Ass and Blind (March 2017, Mack Ave) was nominated for a Grammy Award, and is the first album where Raul openly confronts the challenges of his handicap in his songwriting.
