Get your team together and get ready to take the Luckenbach GOLD 1st place winner will receive a $200 cash prize !! Benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Fredericksburg, Texas. The Return of the Mud Dauber is also celebrated as Luckenbach has the best MUD in the Universe!

Chili Team Registration SOLD OUTHere's the Mud on Cooking- Teams must cook at least 3 gallons of Chili to be tasted by public. Chili Cook Land Rush (1st come 1st serve space) begins at 7am (no sooner). Teams can be up to 4 people. Teams must load in, set up and begin cooking by 9:30 AM. Teams make at least 3 gallons of chili for public tastings, enough to make it last until 3PM. Team space is 10X10, enough room for a Pop-Up, your burner/table and chili fixin cooler (please note…no BYOB). Vehicles will be parked in the parking lot after unloading.
Very excited to announce that helping judge the 1st and 2nd place chili this year will be 2008 CASI International Champion Susan Dean and her husband Alan of Pure Texan Chili!
Chili tasting by general public: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
1pm- Chili judging for First, Second & Third Place
3pm- People’s Choice and Showmanship judging.
