Jazz On Tap

Taos Jazz Bebop Society presents the second in their “Jazz on Tap” FREE concert series featuring New Mexico Jazz Heroes. The music is free, and there’s a Special Mimosa Brunch on the menu. 

Now living in Santa Fe, saxophonist Alex Murzyn spent thirty years in the San Francisco music scene. His music stems from traditional and contemporary jazz, soul, rock, funk, and latin. As a performer, he has appeared as a sideman with many accomplished artists such as Huey Lewis and the News, The Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie Big Band, Bobby Hutcherson, Tommy Igoe, Delfayo Marsallis, The Electric Squeezebox Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Ray Obiedo, Pete Escovedo, Tito Puente, Sheila E, Rebecca Mauleon,  Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Clark and more.
