MONOLITH ON THE MESA

Monolith on the Mesa is a “High Desert Experience” that is a independent first year 2 day festival that is being hosted on the grounds of Taos Mesa Brewing and Hotel Luna Mystica in Taos, New Mexico (8 miles from the town of Taos). The festival is focused around the heavy rock genre (Heavy Psych, Stoner, Retro Rock, Sludge, Space Rock, Doom, Drone) as well as installation art along with visuals projected around the compound. Music inspires art, as well as art inspiring music. It is limited to 1,500 tickets and will be an intimate performance. There are two stages, the indoor stage, and the outdoor “earthship” amphitheater that will be rotating acts throughout the day. The festival is a perfect getaway, offering attendees the unique and mystical Taos experience! Enjoy a weekend on the breathtaking high desert mesa, surrounded by unobstructed views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains. The festival sits on the gateway to the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument which lends festival goers to a choose your own adventure with endless hikes, river rafting, natural and resort hot springs and bike trails making for an immersive experience unlike any other music festival.
