Workshop Description

Do you have a big heart and an interest in solving some of the biggest social problems in the world? Starting a non-profit and carrying out a social mission can be an extremely rewarding experience. But just like starting a for-profit business, there are steps that you need to take to ensure that your non-profit organization is financially sustainable.  One of the most important parts of sustainability is the acquisition of grant funds. Grants are known as a way to get “free money” to support your business but the reality is that there is a lot to the process.  In this 2-hour intro to grants workshop, you’ll learn what grant funds really are, how to qualify, and insider tips and tricks to get your program funded!

Grants Ink

A team of practitioners with over 25 years combined experience, we are the ones who get the job done. After over a decade of serving nonprofits in multiple roles – from volunteers to part of management – we’ve learned the in’s and out’s of securing and sustaining grant funding. We’re constantly learning more about the field and focus on a transparent, ethical approach to acquiring grant funding to support nonprofits. Gone are the days of hiring a grant writer with the most connections for the highest dollar. Today, we empower nonprofits with the knowledge and skills to craft proposals that attract funders and create real change in the community. We believe that grant funds should be equally accessible to all qualified nonprofits and that with the right tools, organizations can achieve sustainability and growth. We’re here to support impactful causes that serve our communities needs and create a better world for all.
