Bobby Shew & Greg Ruggiero

Three-time Grammy nominated trumpeter and New Mexico resident, Bobby Shew, is joined by New York based guitarist Greg Ruggiero for a concert of familiar standards and jazz standards.  A New Mexico native, Ruggiero was visiting his hometown a few months ago and sat in with Shew’s weekly jam session where the two musicians found they had “an amazing musical kinship.” They share that kinship at Outpost tonight and another in Santa Fe the following evening. Joining them will be Jim Ahrend on piano, Terry Burns on bass, Joe Chellman on drums.
