These establishments are not just bars; they are portals to a bygone era, adorned with period-appropriate decor, jazz-filled ambiance, and bartenders skilled in crafting classic cocktails that once fueled the spirits of rebels and socialites alike.

Each speakeasy has its own unique charm and story to tell. You may find yourself in a dimly lit space adorned with vintage photographs and antique furniture, creating an intimate atmosphere reminiscent of the secret gatherings of the past.

Light food will be provided at several locations but please eat before this cocktail-heavy experience. Guests will have time to enjoy a drink at each stop.

Speakeasy is a neighborhood gathering place dedicated to high-fidelity music, exciting cocktails, outstanding service, and casual relaxation located in the heart of Nob Hill at the Hotel Zazz. Come join us for amazing cocktails, spin some vinyls, and get to know our vivacious environment and artistic community! Founders Speakeasy

Hidden in EL Rey Liquors, Founders Speakeasy opened in 2019 in the Historic El Rey Theater. El Rey Theater was built in 1941. Founders specializes in innovative craft cocktails, extensive top shelf spirit list and knowledgeable friendly mixologists.   • Departs from the Historic Old Town Plaza at Old Town Emporium (204 San Felipe St NW 87104).
  • Tour lasts approximately 3.5-hours.
  • This is not a handicap accessible tour. Please be prepared for tight stairs at one location and stairs to board/deboard the Trolley.
  • Must be 21 years of age with valid ID to attend.
  • Alcoholic beverages (optional) not included in ticket price.
  • Locations are based on availability and subject to change prior to tour.
