Part of the Santa Fe Library's Summer Reading program! Unearth a Story at Santa Fe Public Library this Summer!
Blurring the line between music, theatre, and ritual, Visionary Songstress Wendy Rule weaves her dark-ambient mystical songs along pathways of Magic and mythology. With her extraordinary voice and heartfelt lyrics, she invites her audience on an immersive journey of depth and passion.
Over the past three decades, Wendy has released thirteen albums and numerous side projects, and has toured the world extensively — both as a musician and as a celebrated educator in Pagan spirituality. A dedicated live performer, she continues to grow her loyal global fanbase. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Wendy relocated to the USA in 2014 and now lives in the beautiful countryside of Northern New Mexico. This setting offers daily inspiration from wild Nature — the beating heart of her creative and spiritual life.
Wendy's 2024 album Meadowlark is a luminous celebration of the…
They are also available by phone through Hold My Ticket at 505-886-1251.
We are excited to present a show at Tim Schmoyer's intimate Engine70 Studios! This is an active recording studio that sometimes hosts small, intimate concerts. They can only hold 45 people, so very limited tickets!
There is no event parking available at the studio. Parking is available in nearby Guadalupe Street parking lots, in the municipal lot next to Allsups gas station, and ample parking is always available across the street from the studio at the DeVargas Mall.
Slim Cessna—of Slim Cessna's Auto Club—and Maria de Cessna come from Fairplay, Colorado. Slim Cessna's Auto Club are known internationally for their explosive gothic-country-rock shows. Spin magazine has labeled them the best live band in America. Now, Slim has also been performing with his wife Maria. Together they experiment with the tone and atmosphere of the high-plains of Colorado—exploring a serene yet dark side of western, folk, and gospel music.

Buckethead - 06/17/2026

This is a standing room only show. There are no seats at Meow Wolf. 21+ ages.
Buckethead is a virtuoso guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who performs within many genres of music. He has released over 700 studio recordings, way more than anyone else in the history of music. 650+ of those are in his Pike series. He has also performed on over 50 more albums by other artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, and avant-garde.
When performing in his theatrical persona, Buckethead used to wear a KFC bucket on his head, emblazoned with an orange bumper sticker that reads "FUNERAL" in capital black block letters, and an expressionless plain white costume mask. More recently, he has switched to a plain white bucket no longer bearing the KFC logo. He also incorporates nunchucks, robot dancing, and toy trading into his stage performances. Buckethead's persona represents a character that was "raised by chickens" and has made it his "mission in life to alert the world to the ongoing chicken holocaust in fast-food joints around the globe."
An instrumentalist, Buckethead is best known for…
"Two singer-songwriters sit on the edge of a cliff…"
With these words, we are drawn into the world of Both Sides Now—a theatrical concert that explores the music and lives of long-time friends and one-time lovers, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. Created by and starring Robbie Schaefer and Danielle Wertz, the cabaret-style performance traverses decades alongside songs such as "A Case of You," "Hallelujah," "Big Yellow Taxi," "Suzanne," and many more. Both Sides Now is at once a piece of the 60s and 70s, and of right now—offering us a story about the messiness of being human, of lives persistently lived at the edge of growth, and of finding the courage to turn toward one another, again and again.
Robbie Schaefer is a rabbi, singer-songwriter and theatre/film artist. The guitarist and songwriter for the indie folk band Eddie From Ohio has several solo releases as well, including the 2023 single "Under the Sun." He is the founder of Lamplighters, an online community that cultivates small-batch, relationship-driven, inclusive Judaism.
Danielle Wertz is a storyteller, collaborator, jazz…
FUSION | 708 is a beautiful black box theater and art gallery in the FUSION arts campus on the edge of downtown (at 1st and Lomas). The theater can be configured in a variety of ways. This show will be all seated.
When Kelly Willis, Melissa Carper and Brennen Leigh—three accomplished singer-songwriters who have forged their own unique lanes in country music—joined forces as a power trio, there was no more appropriate moniker than Wonder Women of Country.
At the end of 2021, after serendipitously sharing bills separately several times, Willis approached Leigh and Carper about teaming up and playing some shows together. Wanting more than your standard songwriter-in-the-round arrangement, the three learned each other’s songs to create a more integrated, band approach. Those first few shows together were so much fun and so well-received that they decided to continue.
Wonder Women of Country have discovered that, together, their own individual superpowers come alive. (One of their superpowers is being able to find hidden treasures in any thrift or vintage store.) With Leigh playing lead guitar…

Steve Earle - SOLD OUT! - 08/08/2026

Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protegé of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record Guitar Town, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Subsequent releases like The Revolution Starts...Now (2004), Washington Square Serenade (2007), and TOWNES (2009) received consecutive Grammy Awards.
Restlessly creative across artistic disciplines, Earle has published both a novel and collection of short stories; produced albums for other artists such as Joan Baez and Lucinda Williams; and acted in films, television (including David Simon's acclaimed "The Wire"), and on the stage. In 2009, Earle appeared in the off-Broadway play "Samara," for which he also wrote a score that the New York Times described as "exquisitely subliminal." Earle wrote music for and appeared in "Coal Country," a riveting Public Theater…
Known across the galaxy for having cast aside their warring factions in the search for the ultimate party, these rockstars in disguise play music from "The Transformers: The Movie," hit film and anime songs, and video game covers. They blend their love for the '80s and '80s metal into an energon-fueled, unforgettable live show!
Spaceman Bob, an intergalactic rapper with his home base in the deserts of Arizona, allegedly is also the lead singer of punk(ish) band Playboy Manbaby, and when he's not maintaining his cover as a human, he's going on "America's Got Talent" and touring to show planet Earth how to LIVE…
They are also available by phone through Hold My Ticket at 505-886-1251.
Tumbleroot is a mostly-standing-room venue. Limited seating available.
Black Joe Lewis is the realest motherfucker there is. When Covid shut down touring, he went and poured concrete to support his baby mama and his kid. That’s not a story, that’s real life. When Joe and the Honeybears hit the national stage over a decade ago, critics paid attention, but there were always a few saying he hadn't paid his dues. Funny thing is, Joe's still here. Still grinding. Still snapping necks and cashing checks. He's lived the whole cycle: the highs, the letdowns, the long roads and low-hanging fruit. Through it all, he's sharpened his grip on gut-bucket blues guitar and found his true voice.
It's a vital, distinctly American voice, one that never chased attention and never expected it. It just happened. The garage, the blues, the sweat-drenched live shows that live somewhere between James Brown, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and the MC5 were baked in from the start. You couldn't package it or explain it. You had to be there.
Sharon Jones. Charles Bradley. Cedric Burnside…
Kids under 18 are just $12! Tickets are also available from the KiMo Box Office at 505-228-9857.
Max Baca and Los Texmaniacs are the Past, Present, And Future of Conjunto Music. Conjunto music may be a familiar sound to residents of Texas, but its worldwide appeal can be surprising. Combine a hefty helping of Tex-Mex conjunto, simmer with several parts Texas rock, and add a daring dash of well-cured blues and R&B riffs, and you’ve cooked up the tasty Grammy-winning Los Texmaniacs groove. Baca is a legend on the bajo sexto, a twelve-string guitar-like instrument which is vital for the true Tex-Mex Conjunto sound.
Los Texmaniacs are the new worldwide kings of Texas Roots music, feeding the masses with only the best in musical fare, cooked up from a wide-ranging experience touring and recording with Flaco Jimenez of Texas Tornados fame, Los Super Seven, and even the Rolling Stones. While Max Baca has participated in eleven Grammy-winning projects, the band themselves won their first Grammy in 2010 and a nomination in 2019 for their Smithsonian Folkways recording, Borders y Bailes, which features Lyle Lovett and Rick Trevino.
Tickets are available from the NHCC Box Office (in person and by phone - (505) 724-4771).
We had such a good time with The Wailers' sold-out show at Tumbleroot that we couldn’t wait to enjoy their 50 Years of Positive Vibrations tour again—this time in Albuquerque!
In 2026, The Wailers celebrate 50 years of Rastaman Vibration, marking a defining moment in reggae history and honoring one of Bob Marley & The Wailers’ most influential albums. This special tour, 50 Years of Positive Vibrations, highlights select cuts from Rastaman Vibration alongside the timeless classics that continue to unite audiences across generations.
Released in 1976, Rastaman Vibration was a pivotal album that carried reggae’s message of resistance, spirituality, and hope onto the global stage. Songs like “Positive Vibration,” “Roots, Rock, Reggae,” and “War” remain as relevant today as ever — powerful expressions of music as both a cultural force and a call for unity.
Under the leadership of Aston Barrett Jr., son of legendary bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett, The Wailers continue to honor their roots while carrying the music forward with purpose and authenticity.
In a unique crossover into film, Aston Barrett Jr.…
FUSION | The Cell is a black box theater that can be configured in a variety of ways. This show will be all seated.
To classify Chris Duarte simply as a Blues Man is an understatement. In his own words, "rockin' blues" or "punk blues" describes him best. "Ferocious blues" also fits. Legend has it that Chris will play so hard that his fingers bleed in a set. The legend is true. Photos attest.
Chris Duarte is a road warrior playing more than 150 dates a year. As well, Chris has headlined major festivals and clubs throughout the US, Canada and Europe.
Chris is a savant, a sorcerer of tone, a master at channeling the spirits and sounds of great musicians of our past, while remaining completely recognizable in his own sound. He has shared his stage with many of the greatest musicians of our time as well as the multitude of "young lions" and local musicians he meets on the road. From his many years as a side man in Austin, he easily changes roles…

Joanne Shaw Taylor - 10/28/2026

Joanne Shaw Taylor, discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at the age of 16, has carved out an impressive niche for herself in the world of blues-rock. After witnessing her remarkable guitar playing, Stewart immediately invited her to join his supergroup, D.U.P., setting the wheels in motion for a flourishing musical career. Her prodigious talent on the guitar earned her accolades from several industry giants, including Jimmy Cliff, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder, and Annie Lennox.
Now in her 30s, Joanne has emerged as one of the most coveted guitarists in the rock domain. Her journey over the past two decades has seen her evolve into a prolific songwriter, with each of her acclaimed albums being more successful than the last. Joanne's latest single, "The Trouble With Love," arrives as the latest preview of her forthcoming studio album, due out later this year. It follows recent singles, including the defiant blues-gospel anthem "Hell Or High Water" and the collaborative standout "What Good Is My Love?" featuring Orianthi. Together, these releases point toward a body of work that continues to expand…
They are also available by phone through Hold My Ticket at 505-886-1251.
This will be a seated show, but we will leave room up front for dancing. Come early to guarantee seats!
The music of Arkansauce calls forth melodies of the Ozark Mountains' rolling hills and raging rivers with their distinct blend of newgrass. This progressive string quartet features Tom Andersen on bass, guitarist Zac Archuleta, Ethan Bush on mandolin, and Adams Collins on banjo. Their music features improvisational string leads matched with complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and deep thumping bass grooves. Each member sings lead and harmony parts as well as contributes to the lyrics, which offer authentic, intelligent songwriting with hard-hitting hooks.
"We are a band that spends most of our time in the back of a van hurtling toward long nights, good times, and a destiny unknown," says Ethan. "Our inspiration is gathered by events unfolding in our own adventures in real time. These days, the desire to create, inspire, and redefine within our scene seems to be the main driving force behind our music."
They are also available by phone through Hold My Ticket at 505-886-1251.
Kalos is drawn to water. Every performance is like stepping into a river—they never play a song the same way twice. They make music inspired by the maritime traditions of Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia and North America. Their album titles—Harbour and Headland—honor the meeting point between the land and sea and they sing songs about shorelines, seafarers and drownings. They revel in the driving danceability of Irish tunes, but also take inspiration from the pastoral melodies and naturalistic metaphors of Scottish music. But while the music they write is forged in tradition, it is nonetheless cast and tempered in new and unexpected ways.
The trio spans three generations, three cities and two countries. Ryan McKasson (violin, viola, voice), Eric McDonald (guitar, mandolin, voice) and Jeremiah McLane (accordion, piano, voice) met over the years at highland games, contra dances and fiddle camps across North America. They made their first recording in 2016 and have been touring together since 2019. Kalos prizes the magic of live performance—breathing, dancing and weaving together like high-wire acrobats. They are as generous as they…
International Guitar Night is the world's premier touring guitar festival, each show bringing together the most interesting and innovative acoustic guitarists to exchange musical ideas in a public concert setting. For each tour, IGN founder Brian Gore brings together a new cast of guitar luminaries for special evenings of solos, duets, and quartets that highlight the dexterity and diversity within the world of acoustic guitar. Brian founded IGN in 1995 as a forum for the world's finest guitarists/composers to play their latest original songs and share musical ideas and talent with their peers.
The performers will each play a solo set in the first half of the show; in the second half, they will collaborate in duos and trios, as well as all together.
