SUNMONKS, Gerunding, Prism Bitch, Mustard Gas and Roses

California natives, Geoffrey C Knecht and Alexandra Steele, began performing at house parties in California, and were quickly urged to begin performing in public venues. The two began touring the west coast under the name, SUNMONKS, and released their first EP,
In a Desert of Plenty (Crossbill Records) in 2014, followed by an LP, TWO PLAY (Digisquad Records), in 2017, with a 2018 LP on the way.

Their first album, TWO PLAY, was produced by John Baccigaluppi (Tape Op Magazine, Sea of Bees) and features Gabe Nelson and Mike Urbano of CAKE.
