THE RAMEN EATING CONTEST :
The Ramen eating contest will be the last performance segment of Aki Matsuri. Teams made up of 5 people per team, will go up on stage and eat as much as they can within a 4 minute time limit. All broth and noodles must be consumed for a cup to count. The top 2 teams with the most cups collectively eaten within the 4 minute limit will win a 1st place and 2nd place team prize sponsored by TaLin Market. The ramen will be chicken ramen. In the event of a tie breaker each team will send up a single representative and it’s the first person that can completely eat a full cup of ramen including broth the fastest will be considered the winner.
1st place team will get all the same cookware (Ta Lin donating 5) while 2nd place will get (5) 25$ gift cards to Ta Lin. We also have a singles bracket where 5 to 10 people will also go up on stage and compete for a 1st place prize of a 25$ gift card to Ta Lin as well.

Sign ups can be done all the way until 3 days prior to the event, September 20th by 5 p.m. If a team doesn’t have 5 members they can enter into the singles bracket or they can be willing to accept willing single bracket members to join their team to get to that 5 person quota.
