Principal Informatics Officer, Versatile MED Analytics
Stefany Goradia is the Principal Informatics Officer at Versatile MED Analytics, an Albuquerque-based healthcare data analytics consultancy. She is a strong advocate for interoperability, data literacy, and women and minorities in STEM. Formerly, she held various analytics consulting and technical roles at healthcare organizations such as Molina Healthcare, Health Care Services Corporation, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, and the State of New Mexico where she designed and led analytics/business intelligence strategy and data-driven improvement efforts for targeted initiatives, government contracts, and business subunits. She obtained her B.S. in Statistics/Economics from UNM and her M.S. in Industrial Engineering from NMSU.
Nels works as a Quality Assurance Architect at PNM Resources, his role is to help ensure quality and reliability in the IT portion of projects and production support at New Mexico’s largest utility. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona in Operations Management and MIS. He holds multiple certifications in many different IT areas.
Leslie Andrews
IT professional and Certified ScrumMaster
Leslie Andrews is an IT professional and Certified ScrumMaster with a passion for making improvements that help people to do their jobs more efficiently. She obtained her BBA with an MIS concentration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico and has worked in the public sector for 15 years developing applications and databases. She is currently the Database Architect for the City of Albuquerque Police Department. She enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, climbing, kettlebells, and reading epic Fantasy, she is active in the MS SQL community, and on the Governing Board of a Charter School.
Mark Benak brings 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, angel investor, and technologist to the Sandia Foundation. Currently, Mr. Benak is CEO of Asset Performance Technologies, Inc (APT). In 2018, Uptake acquired APT. Previously, he co-founded InLight Solutions, a biomedical device company that develops and markets sensor-based measurement systems for life science applications. He was a staff scientist at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, one of the leading research universities in Germany, and served as a research engineer with Daimler-Benz AG in Stuttgart, Germany. He also chaired the board of directors for Incitor (now xF Technologies), a developer of synthetic enzymes for biofuels.
Mr. Benak serves as a board advisor for the Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm, and was a founding board member and co-chair of the Albuquerque Community Foundation Future Fund. He graduated with both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
