This 3-day Immersion is an explorative deep dive into fundraising best practices and basic tools needed to create and maintain a thriving culture of philanthropy within your organization. Experienced, professional fundraisers will share the tools, systems and best practices needed to be successful in your fundraising efforts: establish your Development Office, create a compelling and comprehensive Case for Support and tackle that most important roadmap, your Development Plan.
Topics will also include the various methods of fund development (annual gifts, special events, foundation, corporate, and government support) as well as the most successful fundraising method: the individual gift and ‘making the ask.’ We will explore the uses of prospect research and choosing the right donor database to keep track of it all. Board roles and responsibilities, stewardship activities and how to manage your time to get it all done are included.
Take home your participatory exercises, your workbook, a flash drive, and best practices to use right away.
