Sandia Speedway's Original Lantern Festival

 Inspired by the traditional Thai Lantern Festival.   At Sandia Speedway, thousands of families and friends have come together and launched over 30,000 lanterns over the past few years! During the day there is Live Music, Face Painting, Princesses, Super Hero's, Costume contest for kids with prizes, Jumpers, Corn Hole, Volley Ball, Horse Shoes, Fire Pits, Food vendors and much much more!  Take your kids through Racers Row to trick or trick. Enjoy relaxing with your loved ones. The sky is filled with thousands of hopes and dreams just after dusk!   It is a once in a life time breath taking experience.
