FIVE FACES OF SHIVA: Five Faces of Shiva follows the rise and fall of the popularity of Hindu god lithographs, arguably India’s first mass media. Lithography — a printing technique which allowed for highly detailed and affordable copies of images — allowed people from all walks of life to own their own direct connection to the gods and goddesses they loved. From the complicated backdrop of British colonization which led to coded messages of rebellion hidden in the prints themselves, to rival presses outdoing one another to the point of ruin, to the dramatic mythological stories depicted in the images, the film explores their deep history and religious symbolism.

THE WONDER: “Nature and the beauty of the wilderness is far far greater than us.” THE WONDER is a reflective journey exploring the human sense of awe and wonder amidst the landscape and wildlife of Kenya. This film follows the story of Ninian Lowis, a safari guide who has spent much of his life amongst the wilderness of Africa - the story revolves around his reflections of how nature helped overcome a sense of purposelessness during his youth, and how he came to realize that a sense of solitude and deep exposure to wild environments had the ability to awaken his senses.
