THE RAMEN EATING CONTEST :
The Ramen eating contest will be the last performance segment of Aki Matsuri. Teams made up of (4) people per team, will go up on stage and eat as much as they can within a 4 minute time limit. All broth and noodles must be consumed for a cup to count. The top 2 teams with the most cups collectively eaten within the 4 minute limit will win a 1st place and 2nd place team prize from TaLin Market. The ramen will be chicken ramen. In the event of a tie breaker each team will send up a single representative. It’s the first person that can completely eat a full cup of ramen including broth the fastest will be considered the winner.

The Ramen Contest will also feature a singles bracket where up to (40) people will go up on stage and compete for both a 1st place prize of a 25$ gift card to TaLin and a 2nd place prize. Same rules and regulations apply to the singles as well as the team competitions.

Sign ups can be done all the way until 3 days prior to the event, September 19th by 5 p.m. If a team doesn’t have (4) members they can enter into the singles bracket or they can be willing to accept single bracket members to join their team to get to that (4) person quota.
