Many Taos residents may remember Chuck's spellbinding performances at Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance Music Festival every year. Chuck has made many friends and fans in the area and loves coming back to Taos.
A long-time Nashville hit songwriter for many artists (George Strait, Toby Keith, John Michael Montgomery and many more), a few years ago Chuck started writing songs for himself, and then he started performing them. He is widely recognized as one of the most powerful writers and performers anywhere, seeming to open a channel deep in his own heart and soul that reaches straight through to the heart and soul of his audience. He also developed his own style of guitar tuning and playing that allows him to get a massive, powerful sound out of his old Gibson.
Don Richmond, Alamosa, Colorado musician, record producer and member of the Rifters will also accompany Chuck. Don't miss this show!
Chuck has released four solo albums of his own music and contributed to the production of dozens of others from his Nashville studio “The Holler”. His songwriting is also featured on dozens of releases by artists as diverse as George Strait (Poison), Shawn Mullins (The Great Unknown), Toby Keith (How Do You Like Me Now, American Soldier), and Wynonna.
