Music Moves Mountains Foundation Benefit

The Music Moves Mountains Foundation is a perpetual series of projects, programs, and services utilizing the scientifically-proven powers of music to change and improve the quality of lives. The Foundation was launched in 2012 in response to the lack of resources in the community to access music therapy, music education, and musical outreach - especially for those who live with mental or physical illness, a disability, or are at-risk or underserved. Funding provides assistance to those seeking music therapy and music education, as well as providing support for the "All Abilities Rock" program, the "Play It Forward" initiative, and the "Feeding the Soul" music series - all of which also supports the music community by providing new opportunities for partnership. Previous partners and major supporters include Lou Adler/Monterey International Pop Festival Foundation, the Joe Strummer Foundation, and The Who. All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible and will be utilized to offer free or affordable services and programs to those in need.
