Outpost teams up with Moveable Parts Productions to present a CD release celebration of the Innerpeace Police’s second CD, Pale Blue Dot. The Innerpeace Police is a modern music collective led by singer/songwriter/flautist/guitarist Glen Salas. The Pale Blue Dot CD, an ecclectic mix of avant-folk, psychedelia, jazz, blues and rock, with contributions from astronomer Carl Sagan and movie soundtrack master Ennio Morricone, will be presented in its entirety. The band features 4 world class, Albuquerque-area musicians: jazz pianist, arranger, musical director, bandleader, educator, and producer Bert Dalton; drummer, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist composer, teacher and producer John Bartlit; versatile bass virtuoso Rob “Milo” Jaramillo; and vocalist and sound therapist Kristen Loree. Opening the evening will be The renowned Bert Dalton Trio. Having played together for twenty years, Dalton, Jaramillo and Bartlit are an incredibly tight, intuitive, polished and sometimes whimsical unit. Their repertoire includes jazz, Latin, Brazilian and original songs.
