Get to know the "The Man Who Made Sarasota Modern", Philip Hanson Hiss, through this open-air Symposium held bayfront at College Hall. Learn about Philip Hiss’ monumental contributions to Sarasota’s development via an introductory film, followed by presentations covering the development of Lido Shores, the Sarasota County school building program of the 1950s and I.M. Pei’s New College work of the 1960s. Light refreshments served.
