 Bob Fox is one of the most respected jazz musicians among his peers. When he decided to move beyond his four year tenure with the legendary Stanley Turrentine, he chose to settle in Santa Fe, putting his promising jazz career on hold to raise his family in our beautiful city. Two college graduates, a home and many years later, Bob is once again focusing his huge talent on composing, and performing. He has a vast knowledge of many sub genres of jazz including latin music, R & B, Country and Pop, offering a diverse musical menu to his listeners. His writing always ignites the musical pallet of even the most dedicated jazz afficionados. For this concert of original music, Bob has chosen the sextet format, featuring Northern New Mexico’s finest, Bobby Shew - Trumpet, Alex Murzyn - Saxophone, Chris Buckholz - Trombone, Terry Burns - Bass, and John Trentacosta - Drums.
