If you have ever been to a ConSensual Circus show, you know how much we enjoy creating art that calls out the world’s shame. We, of course, are not the first to do this. Art has been making commentary of the injustices, and beauty, in the world for centuries. At its core, art is used to make sense of the world and our place in it.

Art is what we use to make sense of, and lean on, when the world is in chaos. In a time in history where everything around us seems to be crumbling, we wanted to lean into using others' art to tell modern stories. All performances from C.lit will do just that; they will tell stories of love, of romance. They will tell stories of heart breaks, of shame. Universal stories will come to play as we bring you C.lit: a classic literature burlesque revue.
