Some of you may still be reeling from the SFMC Juneteenth Jazz celebration of the Houston saxophone tradition. Horace Alexander Young lit up the sold out room like a roman candle with not only his masterful saxophone playing and exceptional ability to connect with his audience, but also his great singing style. This time the former music chair at SFUAD and band alum of B. B. King, Freda Payne, Aretha Franklin, and Nancy Wilson is coming back to Santa Fe, this time with a special holiday concert. On the heels of his pre-pandemic multi-city commemoration of “Nat@100” tour, HAY is back with A Nat Cole Christmas, featuring many of the songs the singing icon made popular every Christmas all those years ago. This concert is SFMC first ever holiday concert as we look forward to celebrating our tenth anniversary presenting jazz in Santa Fe. Ho!! Ho!!
