Sip Idaho is Idaho's only public all liquor tasting festival each year, featuring local craft distilleries from the Pacific Northwest and beyond!

Come celebrate Idaho Spirits Month this July at our 2023 tasting event!
Where: The Riverside Hotel - 2900 W Chinden Blvd, Garden City, ID 83714 
VIP Experience: $100
4-7:30pm
  • 1 hour exclusive pre-entry/early access to the event, starting at 4pm
  • Grand Teton Distillery rocks glass for you to take home!
  • Some vendor booth spaces may have special swag goodies available at their tables, only during the first hour of the event for our VIP's. (This is at the discretion of each vendor, and items are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, while supplies last. We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular goodies/swag for those who may show up late.)
  • Includes everything in General Admission!

Classes: For 2023, we have optional daytime classes, so you can dive further into the nuances of liquor!
11:30am - "Cooking with Whiskey" with Chef Pedro
      Join us with local Chef Pedro, and learn how to cook with whiskey, while you create along with him
  • Learn the creative process behind crafting whiskey-inspired food!
  • Refine your personal cooking skills as you follow along, making some tasty food with him!
  • Enjoy savoring the food you make!
  • Take your whiskey-cooking recipes home, so you can continue the fun!
1:00pm - "Whiskies of the World" with Scott Kelch
     Join us for a special afternoon class with Idaho resident whiskey expert, Scott Kelch, of NorthStar Spirits!
  • Take a trip around the world and learn the difference between several different world whiskies
  • Learn about the unique mash bills, distillation, and barrel-aging processes, and what makes them unique to their region and country
  • Taste through a flight of delicious world whiskies!
  • Enjoy a small charcuterie platter 
2:30pm - "High End Tequila Class" with Carlos Monsalve
    Join us for a special session with Grand Mayan Tequila Owner, Carlos Monsalve, flown in all the way from Mexico!
  • Learn the creative process behind producing high quality tequila
  • Taste through a flight of 3 Very Special Tequilas, as you follow along, learning more about the tequila-making process!
  • Network with the brand owner of Grand Mayan Tequila, flown in directly from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico 
ULTIMATE TICKET - The Ultimate Boozy Experience Package! (Includes ALL 3 classes + VIP Admission Ticket)

  • Enjoy the most exclusive all day liquor experience, and purchase our ultimate all day boozy package, which includes one VIP Ticket to the Grand Tasting Event, PLUS all three of our classes!

Ticket sales - Launch on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 8am. Don't delay! Get your tickets while they last!!
The Riverside Hotel has a limited block of discounted rooms for our event guests on Friday + Saturday evening. You will need to reserve your room by calling the Riverside Hotel at (208) 343-1871 and ask for the "Sip Idaho" discount. The room block closes on June 8th, 2023, so discounted rooms will not be available after that date.
This is a 21+ event. Although we all love our babies and pets, we take Idaho's liquor laws seriously, and they are not permitted in the venue throughout the duration of the event.
