Mark your calendars and tell your pups because the Mutt Strut is coming back to Taos Ski Valley on September 2, 2023!

The day will be filled with a 5k Dog Fun Run/Walk, dog activities, music, food and fun!

All proceeds will go to Taos Avalanche Dogs

Dogs must be on leashes and owners/handlers are responsible for cleaning up their pup's poop.

Event will be held out of the Resort Center Plaza.

Registration:

  • Pre-Registration: Online registration open through Sept 1 at 11:45pm MST
    • 1 Dog: $20
    • 2 Dogs: $35
    • 3 Dogs: $45
  • Day of Registration: 
    • 1 Dog: $25
    • 2 Dogs: $40
    • 3 Dogs: $50

*Multi-dog pricing is for dogs in the same household.

  • 9:30am: Registration / Check-In Opens
  • 10:00am - 12:00pm: Meet the working dogs of Taos Ski Valley and their handlers!
  • 10:30am: Avy Dog demonstration
  • 11:00am: Mutt Strut: 5k Fun Run/Walk Starts
  • 12:00pm - 3:00pm: Live Music by Jimmy Stadler
