 2ŁØT

We all came together during difficult times. Times of immense change and uncertainty. United at pivotal points in our lives.

We named ourselves 2ŁØT after the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. We intentionally cross it out because our goal is to resist entropy.

Our primary goal is to activate and inspire people.

We are a group that doesn’t just focus on music but social change. We want to highlight causes that we believe in. Overcoming addiction, helping kids overcome barriers and discovering their gifts, and criminal justice are top priorities for us.

We are a five piece group from very different backgrounds. Our influences range from hip hop to soul, funk, jazz, & rock. We are all big fans of electronic music.

We brought all of that together to create our own take on it. We call what we do Electronic Jam Music — EJM. Fusing electronic elements with inspiration from classic jam bands.

The Soothsayerz

With soulful melodies and Boom Bap rhythms Neight Larcen raises the bar in Hip Hop production, lyricism and originality. During his 20+ yr. Career he has had the opportunity to share shows with legendary artists such as Public Enemy, Pharcyde, Wu Tang, Hieroglyphics, Digable Planets, George Clinton, Zion I, Brother Ali, Solillaquists of Sound and the list goes on. The multi international beat battle champion recently signed to Hecatomb Industries roster as both an emcee and producer.  Liphe the emcee is a First Nations artist Hailing from Taos New Mexico. He represents three different nations, red willow Taos Pueblo, Lakota/Sioux, and the Diné people. He started making music with his first hiphop crew, “Po.10.cee”(an all First Nations hiphop crew from Taos Pueblo, NM) in the early 2000’s. He has a very strong appreciation towards boom bap hiphop. He first met Neight Larcen at high school parties in freestyle ciphers. They connected later on as both of their musical styles developed. Soon there after, both emcees started to collaborate with the styles they embody. Whether on stage or teaching in a classroom The Soothsayers will take you to school. Both are educators of rhyme, beat production, Hip Hop history and culture. “The Soothsayers” is their newest musical endeavor. Together Liphe And Neight Larcen combine gritty, yet smooth lyrical styles over soulfully crafted production provided by Neight. This new project is aimed at hiphop connoisseurs and boom bap aficionados, that are looking for whats been missing from rap culture in recent years.
