Duke Ellington has impacted the world of music as an American composer perhaps more than any other figure in the last century. The depth, range and intimacy of Ellington's music spans genres, connects continents and swings! This Ellington ensemble will attempt to honor his legacy through his compositions and the emotions that they inspire through dramatic improvisation and conversation amongst friends of the sounds of Jazz.
