SANTA FE MUSIC COLLECTIVE Presents

One of the highlights of last year's Welcome Series was newcomer Jazz trumpet player, composer and arranger Rob Beasley. He has quickly proven his value as a young jazz master by becoming first call for just about everything related to jazz trumpet, including teaching arranging at the New Mexico School for the Arts. As an arranger/composer he has successfully launched his Band of Enchantment, a sixteen piece big band, showcasing his original compositions to sold out audiences in Albuquerque. As a jazz trumpet player he has been raising many an eyebrow in Northern New Mexico clubs with his beautiful tone and natural ability to tell a story with every solo he plays. More recently he appeared twice in the "Drummin’ Man - Gene Krupa" show at SITE Santa Fe and at The New Mexico Jazz Festival. 

Last year’s SFMC concert at Club Legato was SOLD OUT weeks in advance. This year will be another opportunity to hear Rob in case you missed it (or want more), featuring music of the legends along with his own original compositions. So come on out and be rest assured that the future of jazz is in great hands with the likes of Robert Beasley…..once again accompanied by Bob Fox on piano, Cyrus Campbell on bass, and John Trentacosta on drums.
