A Tribute to Aretha Franklin

Welcome to the fifth official installment of Ricky G PRESENTS, a curated concert experience that highlights the LEGENDS of FUNK, with some of San Diego’s most accomplished musicians. On this special night, we'll be honoring one of the most iconic artists of our time, the Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin! Led by Ricky G (of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe), and joined by the incomparable Daneen Wilburn on vocals, the band features an all star cast of musicians from the funk, jam, and gospel worlds, joining forces to give you the funkiest vibes since the Summer of ’69!
