ABQ BioPark: Zoo Homeschool Adventure
Join us on September 17th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm as Education staff host our community's homeschoolers and their families at the Zoo. In our homeschool-exclusive areas, Education staff and volunteers will teach you about adaptations, predator/prey relations, endangered species, the math that goes into feeding our animals, and more! You can even help make enrichment for our animals (or bring it home for yours). Step into our classrooms for keeper chats, education programs, and a vet clinic experience! Don't miss this opportunity for your students to connect with nature through biofacts, games, animal encounters, story time, and hands-on activities!
Note: Purchasing a ticket/tickets will add you to our will-call list. When you arrive on September 17th, volunteers will be at the zoo entrance until 12:00pm with a list of who purchased tickets and how many they purchased. Check-in with them and they will give you your wrist bands for entry.
