Fashion Industry Day

SWAIA Native Fashion Week's Fashion Industry Day begins with engaging panel discussions featuring industry leaders sharing insights on Native fashion, business, and innovation. Following the panels, explore activation spaces hosted by local retailers throughout downtown Santa Fe, where Native design comes to life through unique experiences and showcases.

9:30 AM - Doors Open

10:00 AM - Presentation - Inspired by Whom?: Public Health and Cultural Manufacturing, presented by Dustin Roberto

10:30 AM - Panel 1 - The Designer's Vision: Crafting the Future of Native Fashion. Moderated by Caroline Phelps & Joleen Mitton, with panelists Sage Mountainflower, Wabanoonkwe Irick, Sean Snyder, and Patricia Michaels.

11:30 AM - Panel 2 - Beyond Philanthropy: Sustainable Partnerships in Native American Fashion. Moderated by Ysidro Barela of 5 Hrs of Sleep, with panelists Twila True of True Family Enterprises, Marco Arviso of Dineh & Co., Scott Malouf of Malouf on the Plaza, Antoinette Martinez of Sign of the Pampered Maiden, and Jamie Okume of J. Okuma.

12:30 to 2:00 PM - Lunch Break, guests are encouraged to visit SNFW Industry Day partners Henry & the Fish and Collected Works.
